MCC SPENDING REVIEW UPDATE: Following public consultation and strong local support from community-based organisations as a result of the recent announcement to close 4 leisure centres on or shortly after 26 May, we can confirm (subject to approval by MCC’s Executive on 10 April) that the Council have listened to the community and Levenshulme Swimming Pools, Miles Platting Swimming Pools and Withington Leisure Centre will all remain open during the development of replacement facilities. However, despite extensive efforts, Broadway Leisure Centre will close as originally announced on 26 May 2013. For more info, click here.
