The National Cycling Centre
NEW! MancheSTAR Community Track Cycling Sessions are now available at The National Cycling Centre for just £2. See pdf below for further information.
We work in close harmony with The National Cycling Centre to ensure, as part of the unique Sportcity complex, both organisations deliver the same high quality access for community programmes and elite athletes. Located just behind Asda Wal-Mart, the centre is the proud home of the multi-medal winning Team GB Olympic track cycling team as well as the headquarters of British Cycling.
Regarded as one of the finest sporting facilities of its kind in the world, The National Cycling Centre has developed a reputation for excellence which serves not just the elite athletes, but is open and accessible to the local community.
The centre is no ordinary sporting venue, truly unique among facilities of its stature, offering complete access via introductory cycling taster sessions for complete novices, regardless of your ability.
Where else can you book and use the same facilities as Olympic medallists - and you don't even need to own a bike, all the cycling equipment you need is available to hire!
Although primarily a track cycling venue, The National Cycling Centre also offers excellent facilities catering for additional sports including basketball, netball, Taekwondo and badminton.
Many major sporting events featuring a variety of different sports and activities are held at the centre each year. There are also several meeting rooms which provide a unique and exciting venue for all types of business related activities, such as meetings and product launches.
